Issues Accessing the Internet via Internet Explorer

If you experience a problem with accessing the internet via Internet Explorer please follow the advice below.

It has been advised that you access the internet via Google Chrome. Your ECC device will have Chrome already installed.

Windows 7

To access Google Chrome:

  1. Click on the Start button (bottom left-hand corner/Windows icon)
  2. Click on All Programmes
  3. From the menu that appears, select Google Chrome
  4. Or alternatively, in the search box type Chrome

This will take you on to the internet.

Windows 10

To access Google Chrome:

  1. Click on the Start button (bottom left-hand corner/Windows icon)
  2. Click on the Google Chrome icon which appears in the Quick Applications box
  3. Or select Google Chrome from the menu list (Under ‘G’)
  4. Or click on the Search Windows icon (bottom left-hand corner next to the Windows icon)
  5. And type in Chrome, select the Google Chrome icon

This will take you on to the internet.
